The Solidago method establishes well-being and balance with its client.
Our method consists of a nature-friendly approach and protocols that work, "low risk" products assembled by hand using the good practices and an experienced team that works closely with breeders.
Our approach strengthens the animals' ability to adapt to the stress created by changes and anticipates the different important stages of their life, ensuring:
- to drain its filters, the liver and other emunctories;
- to stimulate and strengthen the immune system;
- to eliminate parasites;
- to ensure remineralization.
Preventing dietary imbalances, the main cause of “maladaptation,” will reduce the need to resort to these remedies unduly, which will increase their effectiveness when necessary and reduce the development of resistance.
Historical History
Since 1989, Labo Solidago has given itself the mission of developing expertise to make producers and breeders more autonomous.
1989 to 2009
Development of quality, safe, stimulating and supportive (rehabilitation) homeopathic formulas and products for milk production: drainage, immunity, remineralization and other products facilitating adaptation to critical moments in breeding or enabling satisfactory technical results to be obtained for the breeder/producer: milk quality, somatic cells, factors influencing milk quality at calving, reduction of pro-inflammatory factors during production peaks, demineralization at the time of persistence, immunity, etc.
Approach to developing homeopathic formulas and products adapted to different types of production, such as sheep, goat, pig and bovine production.
Teachings – training for producers/breeders to identify the factors and moments of adaptation that are important for their herd and production so that they can stimulate or support these factors of well-being and productivity, find the balance, even predict/prevent.
Development of observation, identification and teaching tools.
Expansion in Canada, France.
2009-2016
Development of the scope of the approach to forecasting and preventing adaptation and performance factors: development of a new line of homeopathic products for simplified and preventive use.
Expansion of the integrated approach, method and specific tools to other types of production: rabbits and chickens: new LP products.
New developments in the individualized approach to the factors of development, adaptation and performance of domestic animals: cats, dogs, horses.
2017
In May 2017, the Government of Canada released amendments tothe Food and Drug Regulations (Veterinary Drugs — Antimicrobial Resistance).
Here is an excerpt: “ Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a serious and growing public health threat in Canada and around the world. As more microbes become resistant to antimicrobial drugs (or antimicrobials), these drugs are becoming less effective in preventing and controlling infections. The misuse or overuse of antimicrobials in animals is a major factor in the emergence and spread of AMR. The emergence and spread of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens in animals can pose a public health threat when they are transmitted to humans through food or water. Antimicrobial-resistant infections are associated with an increased risk of death, increased disease complexity, longer hospital stays, and increased treatment costs. According to available information, approximately 80% of the total volume of antimicrobials sold in Canada is for veterinary use.”
These amendments now allow the importation and sale of animal health products (AHPs) in Canada that are considered low-risk, such as homeopathic products intended for companion animals and/or human consumption. Since November 2017, Health Canada’s Veterinary Drugs Directorate has been implementing its Animal Health Notification Program (AHP) to “facilitate access to low-risk animal health products as additional tools to support animal health and welfare.” (More information)
